Objectives and activities
The main benefits that flow from the purposes of St Monica s Boxing Club is to help to broaden, as
tar as possible, access to boxing facilities in Newry and surrounding area in order to enhance
participation and develop physical and mental bo.King skills. Such trarticipation enhances the physical
benefits to participants bv way of healthy active participation in Ixjxing. Participaiion also encourages
sportsmanship, discipline and personal development at all levels. It also provides enjoyment to those
spectating.
The benefits are demonstrated through feedback from individual members.
There 15 no harm arising from any of the purpose5.
The beneficiaries are people with an interest in boxing, sport and physical developmenl and indeed
anyonc in th¢ community who wishes to participate.
There is no harni flowing from the purposes and any private benefit is incidental.
They provide fully qualified boxing coaches to teach local meM￿r5 of the community to box. This can
be t.or iyencral fitncss or in COTnpctition such as local club event5 or national events. W¢ also pI'ov ide a
safe and neutral environment for people from all communities to come togeiher both to train, learn and
break do￿￿ barriers. We aim to build people to help ihem gain confidence to reach their full potential in
life and raise ihe level of achievement of the local area with particular emphasis on providing a sporting
outlet and sporting opportunities for the l(Kal community.
Goingconcern
manageme.nt have considered a period of at le2St 12 months from date of approval of these
financial statements as part of their &ssessTnenl of the appropriateness of the going concern
assumption, and have concluded that ihe going concern basis is appropriate.
The effect of Covid-19 in *O?O,? I has not created any doubt on the ability of the company to
continue.

Organisofional struclure
St. Monica's Boxing Club is a registered charity with The Charity Commission for Northem
Ireland under charity number 107952.
Recruitment and truste¢s
There were no changes to the charity tn￿lee$ during the financial year.
Organisation Structure
The Board consists of three Trustees who administer the club and Tneet monthly. The Board has
appointed a club Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of the club. The leader has
delegated auihority, within terms of delegated approval, for oFrdtional matters including staff
supervision, d¢liv¢ry of acllvilies budgvknry tnanagemeni. SthtT also undertake regular
trainin¥.
