Oblertlves The objective of the CharSty Is to advance the amateur sport of Association Football amongst children and youn8 people within the Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council Area Actlvltles Glenavon Youth Academy facilitate sporting and community activity for youn8 people from across N. Ireland, particularly across Arma8h, Banbrid8e & Craigavon. In pSanning our actSvltles for the year we kept in mind the CharSty Commlsslon's 8uidance on public beneflt at our management committee (Trusteel meetln8S. The focus of our activities remalns providin8 development specific football coaching and to develop social responsibility of the young people via community development initiatives. We continue to build the capacity and capability of our coaches to ultimately maximize the effectivene55 of the service provided to our members. Our membership is open to people from all back8rounds regardless of faith, gender or personal circumstances. Achlevements We have teams over 11 age groups playln8 football each week wlth a total membership now in excess of 170 lead by a 40 person volunteer team. Slgniflcant progress was made over the last year with 3 of our older teams making national cup finals and l of them wlnnln8 the National Lea8ue Cup. Flnanclal Revlew Total receipts were £103.4k and payments were £102.8k 8ivin8 a surplus of £0.6k for the year under review.
