**Purposes:** The purpose of the Forum shall be to promote citizenship, community development and effectiveness of charities and voluntary groups in the Waringstown area, without distinction of political opinion, sexual orientation, religious belief, disability, age, gender, race, martial status, family status or other opinion insofar as it is charitable according to the law of Northern Ireland and in particular by:  - Representing the interests of charities and voluntary groups in Waringstown, for example at council meetings.  - Lobbying our council on behalf of charities / voluntary groups for better community facilities - Facilitating collaboration on joint charitable projects - Facilitation information and sharing between charities/voluntary groups, where beneficial, and in line with data protection regulations.
