## **Achievements, Performance and Public Benefit**

The gathering around the Cathedral of a body of supporters (the 'Friends') extending beyond its congregation and across denominational boundaries. This in turn improves good/community relations, education and well-being outcomes, and reduced levels of social isolation, stress and anxiety, through the promotion of religion and culture in Clogher Dicoese. The provision of financial support for the maintenance and enhancement of the fabric of the Cathedral; the provision of financial support for aspects of the life and worship of the Cathedral not provided for from other resources of the Cathedral. These benefits are demonstrated through feedback from visitors, tourists, the congregation, beneficiaries and attendees at our meetings, events and activities : evaulation forms, surveys, verbal feedback, and evaluation of our activities. In providing a local point of social contact and activities for the community benefit there is no possibility of harm out weighing the benefit - there is no harm arisin from any of the purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are primarily the inhabitants of Clogher Diocese and its surrounding environs within the Dungannon and South Tyrone area of Mid Ulster District Council. A private benefit to Trustees may arise from participation in our ongoing events, activities, and services. Through this, Trustees gain awareness, information, skills, and experience which are transferable to other settings, and which may benefit their own community group or area. Our own Trustees receive information, tuition, services and activities in the same way as other beneficiaries, and are assigned support, information and services in the same ways as other beneficiaries. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

The Charity has given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities entered into during the year have helped to achieve the Parish's objectives and activities, as well as providing public benefit.
