Independent Examinerfs report to the charity trustees of Largymore Temperance Juniors I report on the accounts for the year ended 31 December 2025. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under Section 65 of the Charities Art to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under Section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act}; and to state whether particular matters have come to our attention. Basis of the independent examiner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under settion 65 of the Charities Act and our examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charities Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65{9}{b) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items of disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters. My role is to state whether any material matters have come to our attention giving us cause to believe: l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act. 2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records: 3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act; 4. That there is fvrther information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. Peace & ' Security LARGYMORE TEMPERANCE JUNIOR CHAIRPERSON REPORT 2026 Chair erson Re ort I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our existing members and volunteers for their hard work thought out the year. This has been a busy year with people coming back into the community and joining in with our activities and bringing a diversity within our group. Our members and volunteers have completed courses which helps them in future employment and the running of our group. Festival 2025 The festival last year was very successful and the feedback is very promising for future events. The turnout was brilliant- I would like to thank the community for support at this and other events. The festival had a visit from Santa on his sleigh, Christmas trail and other events. The volunteers that helped all joined in with their family, which give us a chance to recruit more volunteers from the local area. We also have organised educational trips other activitie5. Children And Youn Peo le Several activities were offered at the festival for our young people. Throughout the year we put on a several educational trips and courses. We believe this will give them confidence to join in with the community young and old communicating to together as a community. With the local community getting involved the young people are asking about other activities its looking good. Partnershi Workin During the year we have continued our partnership working with other organisations within the local area eg; Hillhall Regeneration, Cathedral, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council and other local groups. CHAIR PERSON REPORT 2024 CHAIRMANS REPORT I would take this opportunityto thank all our new and existing volunteers for their hard work though the year. This has been a busy year with people coming back into the community and joining in our activities, bringing a diversity within our group. Our volunteers have completed courses which his help them in future employment and the running of our group. SUMMER FESITVAL 2023 The festival was very successful this year. The turnout was brilliant and I would like to thank the community for their support at the festival and other events. The volunteers that helped were very much appreciated and allowed us to recruit more volunteers with in the local area. Everyone enjoyed the festival and its activities. It was a great opportunity for family and friends to get together. CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE Our young people dressed up at Easter, Halloween and Christmas walking the local area giving out Easter eggs, treats and selection boxes. It was good to see the reaction on local residence young and old, the feed back was second to none. This has helped us to deliver more, with the young dressing up delivering items around the area more of our community our wanting to get involved and take part in our activities. Which brings more people in the community to volunteer as the area has a diversity of volunteers. PARTNERSHIP WORKING DurinE the last year we have continued our partnership working with many organisations within the local area eg, Hillhall Regeneration, Lisburn Cathedral, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council and other groups. We have built up a very good relationship with statutory providers and continue to seek new opportunitie5. We are still using the Robert Watson Memorial Hall and thank the hall committee for all their help through out the year, we still help them out with their hall insurance each year which covers all our activities.
