Activities
The Organisation is a cross-community arts group established in the UK City of Culture Year 2013 within Derry-Londonderry and is one of the few legacy projects still active. It is a not-for-profit group engaged in arts and community outreach. The Organisation’s work consists of a ladies’ choir, a children's choir, a community symphony orchestra, a community choir festival and a programme of outreach workshops and projects. In so far as it is charitable according to the law of Northern Ireland, the Organisation is established to raise the standard of arts practice and performance in our city and beyond, removing all barriers to arts participation by creating opportunities for learning, performance and personal development in the arts for young people and adults, and to advance community development through arts engagement projects.
