## **Annual Report and Accounts for the year ending 28 February 2023**

## **Attendees** 

Teresa Kelly, Katheen Daly, Rose Kelly, Bridget Tierney, Bernie McKernanm Nancy Coyle, Vera Donnelly, Brenda Nugent, Rose Law, Dolores McKenna and Maura Dobbs. 

## **Previous Minutes** 

The minutes of previous meeting were agreed as a true and accurate account of the meeting.  Proposed by Teresa Kelly and seconded by Rose Kelly 

## **Summary of the Years Events and Activities** 

A detailed discussion too place to discuss the events and activities of the past year.  It was agreed by all present that it had been a most enjoyable year with a wide range of activities. The outings and trips were especially enjoyable and the members requested that perhaps these could be extended.  The dedication and hard work of Teresa Kelly and Kathleen Daly was greatly appreciated y all. 

## **Income and Expenditure** 

The accounts were presented.  These were agreed as accurate and correct proposed by Nancy Coyle and seconded byy Vera Donnelly 

## **Suggestions and Way Forward** 

The members were very happy with the current club and the was it was working. However, it was agreed that an effort would be made to encourage new members to expand and support more elderly people living in this rurally isolated deprived location. The issue of transport was discussed and it was agreed to meet with Community Transport to address this.  It was proposed that the group apply for additional funding to support the weekly activities and additional training.  It was also agreed that the members would meet early in the New Year to plan for the year ahead and organise activities, trips and outings. 

It was also agreedd that the current Trustees would remain and no new Trustees will be added.  The current Trustees are: Teresa Kelly, Kathleen Daly, Rose Kelly, Eileen McElduff, Maura Dobbs, Bridie Hurson and Brigid Tierney.

There was no other business at this time. 

Meeting closed with refreshments and Thanks and Appreciation to Teresa Kelly and Kathleen Daly for all their assistance in running the club.
