THE CHURCH OF IRELAND PRESS LIMITED – TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT & PUBLIC BENEFIT REPORTING FOR THE PERIOD 1[ST] NOVEMBER 2021 – 31[ST] OCTOBER 2022
- The Charity is involved in the preparation, publication, sale and distribution of the Church of Ireland Gazette, both in printed form and as an e-paper, throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Through such publication the Charity seeks to achieve its objectives of:

Advancing the Christian religion among the people of Ireland.

Facilitating healthy reflection and dialogue within the Church of Ireland on matters of faith and life.

Providing a constructive and independent voice within the Church of Ireland, within the Christian community of Ireland.

Providing a catalyst for mission and growth within the Church of Ireland.
-
The publication and sharing of relevant and necessary information and news for and of the Church of Ireland parishes.
-
To aid and contribute to the celebration of the life and witness of the Church of Ireland.

To encourage the provision of articles and information of interest to and relevant to all age groups.

During the reporting period circulation of each issue of the printed and e-paper amounted to 11,600 copies.

The Charity complies with the General Data Projection Regulation requirements in all its dealings with those who subscribe to purchase its publication.

The Trustees have at all material times high standards of personal and financial probity and given due regard to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland’s public benefits requirement statutory guidance. In addition, as a company limited by
guarantee, the Charity has adhered to all relevant provisions of the company’s legislation.
- Income during the reporting period totalled £82,102 with expenditure of £92,842. Net assets as of 31[st] October 2022 stated as £218. The financial records are independently examined and verified by a firm of Chartered Accountants.
The Charity is known as Church of Ireland Press and its Northern Ireland Charity Number is NIC107870. The principal address of the Charity is 3 Wallace Avenue, Lisburn, County Antrim, BT27 4AA.
