The purpose of Glendarragh Quilters, Guild is to provide an organisation that
encourages its members to promote the craft of quilting for the public ber￿( by
offering inspiration through regular meetings, workshops and demonstrations.
The information below sets out the activities we have carried out to further our
purposes and to fuffil the public benefft elements during the last twelve months.
AcfivmES
We continued to meet on a twice monthty basis. from September to June 2025 in
Colaghty Parish Hail, Lack.
On our retum 19 membets enrolled. Members had an opportunity to Show and Tell at
each meeting: this was a chance to encourage and inspire others whilst giving some,
who had travelled to retreats and dasses else•vhere, an opportunity to share new
techniques and expertise.
On October 21 st y￿ had a tutor visit for a day to t&￿h us Confetti Quilting. The
majority of members participated in the v•orkshop and completed work was shared
throughout the remainder of the first terni. Prior to Christmas, one member shared her
knovAedge of making felt tree decorations. Various similar pieces were produced by
rnembe￿.
In January we had a member-led workshop. This was an opportunty for all to make a
lattice woven fabric bowl. Some continued to worf( on completing these activities and
the remainder of the quilting year w&s set aside for persOr￿1 projects.
Eight of our members visited the Folk Park in April where we met up with Oma9h
Quilters and The Nl Patchwork Society. One of the curators spoke about the antique
quilt selection stored in the centre and a number of these quilts were on display. We
shared some of our own work at a joint Show and Tell session in the afternoon
Early in the year we completed our tharity quilts and these were handed over. One
went to Enniskillen Ladies Cirde to be raffled and proceeds were given to Air
Ambulance Nl. The second was donated to the Canw Focus Centre in Enniskillen to be
Used as they so wished.
As an end of year treat, we joined up with Omagh Quilters Guild, for a day trip to
Clones to visit Just S￿¥ Now quilting shop.

FINANCES
Our opening bank balance was £1271. Membership fees for the year brought in £975.
Rent for the year cost us £650. Insurance came in at £93 and tutor costs were
£178. We paid £220 pounds to have c￿r Charity quilts completed. Sundries for the
group throughout the year cost £91. Our toLIl expenses came to £1232.
Closing bank balance was £1041.
Total assets, including Credit Union balance of £221, are £1235.66.
