The purpose of Glendarragh Quitters, Guild is to provide an organisation that
encourages its members to promote the craft of quilting for the public benefit
by offering inspiration through regular meeting, workshops and
demonstrations.
The information below sets out the activities we have carried out to further our
purposes and fulfil the public benefit elements during the last 12 months.
Activities
Due to the COVID pandemic and considering the age profile of the majority or
our members the group remained inactive throughout most of the financial
year. No meetings took place until late April 2022. In order to mee the public
benefit requirement some quilters continued working with the aid of zoom
lessons while others used YouTube and other online resources. We were able
to share and discuss our work via our WhatsApp group. One member
provided packs for a felting workshop which took place over two 3 hour
sessions fa￿ to fa￿. Numbers were low as Spa￿ was limited. The trustees
may decide to seek new premises for activities in the coming year. This will
provide more Spa￿ and allow our group to expand.
Our activities do not lead to any harm. The only private benefit from our
purposes is that a trustee or family member may participate in the same
manner as all other beneficiaries. this is purely incidental and ne￿SSary so
that the benefit is available to all inhabitants of the area.

Finances
In the financial year we collected fees of £300 and paid rent for the last temi,
which along with other expenses, gave a totsl expenditure of £344. We had
some money in our bank account to withstand this small loss. We have no
assets or liabititses
The Chaiity's finances are in surplus and accounts are prepared to comply with
