Structure, governance and management
The charity is governed by its constitution and is constituted as a trust. Trustees are appointed and meet no less than 4 times per year.
Objectives and activities
The objects of the charity are to support and guide individuals and couples experiencing fertility difficulties in Northern Ireland by;

a) creating a safe and supported environment, in which individuals and couples from Northern Ireland can consider their fertility options;

b) reducing distress for individuals and couples by making available emotional well-being and physical health activities and events;

c) improving the physical, mental and emotional well-being of individuals and couples faced with fertility difficulties in Northern Ireland;

d) creating a support network for those individuals and couples faced with fertility difficulties in Northern Ireland:
and ancillary to increase public awareness and enhance the understanding of fertility difficulties experienced by individuals and couples in Northern Ireland.
Achievements and performance
Fairness (IN) Fertility had another successful year. The charity offered a safe and supported space, for both individuals and couples to explore their fertility journey, subsequently supporting those faced with infertility, fertility difficulties and baby loss to receive support, through a peer support network, moderated by Fairness (IN) Fertility. Fairness (IN) Fertility continued to raise public awareness of the impact of infertility, fertility difficulties and access to treatment experienced by individuals and couples in Northern Ireland across its Social Media platforms dovetailing key calendar dates such as, Infertility Awareness Week, Baby loss Awareness Week, International Women & Men’s Day and World Mental Health Day, In addition, the Irish News carried an article on 30 July 2023 on our fertility treatment competition highlighting 5 babies born at the end of July 2023, at year-end this increased to a total of 7 babies born following our successful fertility treatment competitions. Fairness (IN) Fertility’s Chairperson was recognised as an Inspiring Women in March 2024 by the Gasyard Wall Féile .

Financial review
The charity had restricted reserves of £3,872 at 31 March 2024 (£4,517 – 2023).
The charity does not have a policy on reserves.
Independent examiners
A resolution will be proposed at the AGM that L Duffy & Co Chartered Accountants be re-appointed as independent examiners to Fairness (IN) Fertility for the ensuing year.
