I. PRICIPLE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY
Molr3 Primary PTA Is a small group of parents of children who attend the school, the school
principal and teacher ￿preSentatiVes. In close partnershlp with the school and staff, the PTA
organise various events, artlvities and fundraisers throu8hout the academlc year.
Pa￿Thts are eftcoura8ed to take an active part In being part of the school communlty throu8h
their PTA membership and volunteering SUPPOrt. not only the fundraisin8 events but for all
the key events In the school calendar.
Moira Primary PTA helps generate funds to provide educational resources for all a￿aS of the
curriculum which benefit the educational progress of each leamer which would otherwise
not be available through direct funding of the school.
All decisions on how the fvnds ralsed by the Moird Primary PTA should be spent. are agreed
by the PTA Committee, the school principal and teaching staff prlor to any purchase being
made. The committee meets regularly throughout the academic year and holds a yearly
Annual General Meetin8 where committee members for each year are agreed.

The Charft(s objective is to athiance the educatlon of puplls In the school through
developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and school communlty and to
enga8e in activities or provide faclllties or equlpment which supports the school helpin8
maximising the full potentlal of each learner to advance the education and wellbeing of the
pupils.

A donation was given to school to enable the purchase of garden shovels and we also
purchases aever Kind Numerdcy kits which were donated to the school. The PTA also paid
for the usual yearbook for each of our leaving primary seven pupils.
It was agreed that much need lights would be purchased to aid the numerous discos held
throughcxrt the school year 2 sets were purchased.
Annual Insurance subscription was paid for Parentkind Membership.
INANCIAL REVIEW
This year the PTA committee along with support from the local communlty and familles of
the school achieved the followin8 income and profit for the year 2022-2023

Added to the funds brought forward of. £3.097.23. this brought total funds avallable to
£11,885.71. D￿ationS to the school to fvnd the items noted In sectoon 5 above amounted
to £2247.36 leavi￿ funds carrled forward of £9,638.35.

The school is lookin8 to Install 2 new outdoor sports pltches and funds ralsed In thls year
would help to contribute thls development.
The PTA Is hopSn8 to host some new events next year and would also Ilke to look Into the
idea of branded hats and snooth.
