## Activities

**Purposes:** GMB (good morning Ballymena) is established to provide a telephone befriending, support and alert service to older persons and vulnerable adults (hereinafter referred to as the "beneficiaries") resident in Ballymena and associated rural districts (hereinafter referred to as the "area of benefit"), who are experiencing loneliness, social isolation, fear of crime and health-related problems. By doing this, GMB hopes to support the beneficiaries to remain independent within their homes and communities and to encourage beneficiaries to build social networks.  To establish or secure the establishment of a centre in Ballymena (hereafter called "the centre") and to maintain and manage such a centre or to cooperate with any local organisation(s) in its maintenance and management for the activities promoted by GMB in furtherance of the above objects.
