Little Treasures objectives as stated in our constitution is to ensure that all children in their preschool year are provided with a broad range of play opportunities and activities in a safe and secure environment to encourage the formation and development of each child. Children got opportunities to become strong, competent little learners and be visible in their local community, become physically and emotionally healthy, eager and able to learn and be respectful of difference. During the year the playgroup has undertaken many activities to ensure that the objectives are met and that all children were provided with the best possible start to their education, through a well-planned early years curriculum. Curriculum covered children's personal, social, and emotional development, language, arts, mathematic, world around us and physical development. All children were catered for and ensuring that all their needs were met. Fundraising and grant aid ensured that the playgroup could provide the children with extra curriculum activities through music and dance, forest School and biodiversity programs. Plans for the future is to become a forest school setting, to allow the children more outdoor learning and become more involved in nature.
