**Purposes:** The aims of the PTA are: - To support and advance the education and welfare of the children attending the school - To assist in the provision of extra resources for the education of the pupils - To promote the advancement of children's participation in sporting activities and promoting health and wellbeing - To promote a close link between the community and the school through both educational and social meetings involving parents, teachers and others associated with the school for the benefit of the school's pupils. The PTA will provide an opportunity for people to meet, get to know each other and have fun
