Confirmed & Passed Leslie Conn Chairman PBDCA Thursday 25th January 2024
8 Glenside Avenue Drumbo Lisburn BT27 5LQ 5[th] January 2024
To The Chairman, Officers and Committee of The Pound Bridge and District Community Association
Dear Leslie,
I have to admit that your group never fails to amaze me. I thought that the events in 2022 were outstanding but the highlight of 2023 was the Kings Coronation celebration. This surpassed the number of people last year seen in our village and the weather really was so very kind to us all. Once again your Christmas events really brought the community out in their numbers to the market and the Santa runs. The tractor run was a stroke of genius and I applaud your group for this. I made the Christmas dinner this year and really enjoyed the fellowship and food.
I see that you have been once again successful in gaining funding from various sources and I hope that you can be even more creative in your approach in 2024.
I have examined the folder, bank statements and reports provided to me and I have great pleasure in confirming that the accounts, receipts, and all monies presented to me by Glenda for the accounts of your association in 2023 has been duly audited and confirmed as accurate.
I look forward to big events in the community and wish you every success during 2024.
Yours Sincerely
Roy Young J.P
