Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Overview

Our AGM took place on 8[th] October 2024. Throughout the year we had four new parents join the PTA in 24/25. We made plans for fundraising & PTA support for the academic year. This was one of the most successful years for the PTA & school in a long time.

Activities in the school year included:

The PTA supported events such as sports day ice creams for all pupils, Easter treats from the bunny and P7 Leaver gifts. Furthermore, the PTA were able to secure some new costumes for the school for World book day with Parent Kind and the charity ‘All Dressed up’. Furthermore, the PTA provided complementary refreshments and their time at all school nativities.

The PTA were also able to source ‘Be School Ready’ guides as a result of being Parent kind members. These were included in Nursery and Primary one intake packs.

Impact and Benefit

The children and school continue to benefit from the efforts of the PTA. As a small PTA and a small school we are limited as to what we can do and what we can raise. This year has been a great success for funds raised. Furthermore, it was a great enjoyment to pupils, teachers, families, friends and the community for events held this year.

The school community continues to benefit socially from the events we run; with opportunities for fun and friendship outside of school and to develop positive relationships between pupils, parents and the school. The children also benefit
