Paisley Park Sportsplex Ltd Accounts for Year ended 31[st] March 2023

INCOME Nil EXPENSES NIL ASSETS NIL LIABILITIES NIL

Paisley Park Sportsplex Ltd came about through an initiative by Department for Economy NI, as a co-operative organisation of the local groups who were using the sports facilities on site. It was ultimately aimed at becoming the Leaseholder and Manager of the historic Paisley Park Sports Ground on Belfast’s West Circular Road.

While the local sports groups did meet monthly, and formally set up Paisley Park Sportsplex Ltd , which has become a Registered charity in N.Ireland, the Department for Economy, and latterly Department for Communities, still have full financial responsibility for the site. The Paisley Park Sportsplex Ltd Board is working towards the refurbishment of the older disused in disrepair 3G Pitch on the site which will then provide the Board with an income, to take full financial responsibility for site management.

Until then Paisley Park Sportsplex Ltd will not trade.

Refurbishment, funded by Dept for Communities and Belfast City Council, of the 3G Pitch was completed July 2023, and Paisley Park Sportsplex Ltd began trading on 1[st] August 2023, with its own Bank Account.
