Structure, governance and management: FOSD is the Parent-Teacher Association for St Davog's
Primary School, Belleek. The PTA is governed by its constitution. Trustees are elected by members at
the AGM and meet during the school year to organise fundraising and approve expenditure.
Charltable purposes: The organisation aimsto advance education for children from Foundation stage
to the end of Key Stage Two. It does this by: 1) Developing effective relationships be￿een the staff,
parents and others associated with the school; 2) Engaging in activities or providing facilities or
equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils; 3) Providing access for
pupils to resources, activities and links within the local community which are not availabLe through
direct school funding.
Actlvltles and achlevements: Fundraising activities during the year were varied and included both
events and passive income streams. A Valentine's disco was organised for the children, raising
£220.40 after costs while also providing an enjoyable social opportunity. Additional income {£197.471
was generated through participation in theAsda Cashpot forschools scheme, which allows shoppers
to support nomin8ted schools by allocating a percentage of their spend to a "cashpot" that is Later
distributed to the school or PTA. Further funds (£245.51) were raised through the Easyfundraising
platform. which enables parents. carers and supporters to generate donations for the PTA through
their everyday online shopping at no additional cost to themselves.
In addition, the PTA supported a successful funding application to the Fermanagh Trust Callagheen
Community Wind Farm Fund, securing a grant of £1,000 towards the development of the school's
outdoor learning environment. This fund provided financial support to local community projects in
areas surrounding the wind farm. helping to deliver environmental, educational and community
benefits. The project aimed to enhance playground and planting areas to make them more accessible,
sustainable and engagingforall pupils. Phase 1 included the replacement of raised beds, outdoor play
equipment and seating. along with the introduction of gardening resources, wildlife features and
sensory elements. These improvements helped to support the school's outcloor learning, encouraged
environmental awareness and provided inclusive spaces for play. wellbeing and educational activities
across all year groups.
In total. these activities contributed to overall funds raised of £1663.38 during the year. The proceeds
were used to support the PTA'S ongoing provision of school-based resources. activities and
opportunities, benefiting all pupils and enhancing their educational experience. In addition, these

fundrdising efforts helped to strengthen relationships between parents. staff and the wider School
community, fostering a positive and supportive environment for the children.
Expenditures for the year included the bank account fees (£109.85) and Parentkind membership
(£162).

The trustees consider the level of reserves held at the year-end to be appropriate in light of planned

events and initiatives for the benefit of the children and the wider school community.

The charity's trustccs are responsiblc for thc prcparation of thc accounts. Thc charity's trustccs consider
that an audit is not required for this year under section 65(2} of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008
(the Cl)arities Act) and that an indcp¢iid¢iil examination is needed.
It is my rcsponsibilily to:

Basis of independent examiner's report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland. An examination includes a revicw of the accounting records k¢pt by
the charity and a comparison of thc accounts prescntcd with those rccords. It also includes considcration
of any unusual iterns or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you a.s trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertakcn do noi providc all the evidence that would be
requircd in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whcthcr the accounts prcscnt a 'true and
fair view, and the report is limited to those matters set oul in the next statement.
