Dungannon Muslim Community Register Charity Number:107651 Trustee annual report year 2021/2022 After hiring bigger hall for mosque in April 2023, we make some change and adaptation in the new masjid hall, ex: adapted kitchen, toilet, ladies pray room and fitted with a new carpet. After all job done, we moved to the new place and we continue to perform the 5 daily prayer in congregation at masjid/mosque and also, we have children's classes on weekends and bank holidays. On evening time some children come for they school home work. We provided meals to the community during the 30-day month of Ramadan during the breaking of the fast. We then had Eid gatherings twice gathering over 150 people. With the expansion in the lady's section ladies manage to have ladies only gatherings where they discuss amongst themselves and get to know about each other and how to uplift the community. The masjid also hosted different Muslims from other communities who came to pay a visit from Malaysia, Belfast and Craigavon. We held different events like marriage and small religious parties in the new property that helped to bring and gather the community together. We also getting in touch with local Council in order to provide us Islamic cemetery plot yards, th Finally on Friday 29 December 2023, along with 73 community members we held an AGM (annual general meeting), after Jummah/Friday prayer where we discussed several topics and how to improve our involvement to the voluntary community's work.
