Leafair Community Association Ltd (LCA Ltd), previousty known &8 L¢afair Community Association is a
voluntary and charitable organisaiion based within the Ballyarn¢tt DEA. li was set up with ihe core aim of
enabling local people who hav¢ been excluded fmm lifc chances to live fuller Itvcs and participate in th¢iT
community. LCA Ltd operat¢5 from their community ownedlmanagcd community centre commonly ieferred to as
'Skeoge House,, which encompasses a reception are4 office space. a communavtraining room, an art5 and cultural
hub and a communal kitchen. Cor¢ activili¢slservices at Skeogc HOUK include a Senior Citizens Luncheon Club,
trnininyjeducation programm¢s for adults. trainee employfftent opportunities. a men's health programme, the
Personal Youih Development Programme. youth projects in partnership with the Educalion Authority and general
community developmenl activities which involve ¢nvironmental improvement project% community allotment&
summer fesiival. Christmas Wint¢r Wonderland and a range of sociaVre¢reational aclivllies Ihioughout the year.
LCA Ltd also facililate5 public meetings to address community issues as they arise. aclively liaise. work with or
support a range of agencies on a w¢¢kly basis and these include Sk¢o8e House Women's Group. Alcohol
Anonymous aftercare project, On the Str¢ets Youth Initialive who utili5e ihe premises to provide youth
diversionary activili¢5 for t¢¢nagers in the area and the North West Regional College who ulilise "Skeoge House,
as an outreach centre for l(Kal and accessible further educalion programmes. LCA Ltd atso manages several social
economy proje¢ts such as the L¢afair 3G Pitches, Leafair Green GJTr. Skeoge Community Transport and L¢afair
M¢n's Workshop.

on 12 October 2020. The charitsble company w&5 eslablished under Memorandum & Articles of A&%)cialion
Ivhich outlined the area of benefit and the objects of the charitable organisation.
