voluntary and charttable organi5ation b&sed within the Ballyarn¢ft DEA. It was set up with the ¢ore aim of
enabling local p¢opl¢ who have been excluded from life chances to live fuller lives and participat¢ in their
ommunity. LCA Ltd operntes frorn their community owndlmanaged Community centre ￿MMon1Y referred to as
'sk￿g¢ House,, which encompasses a reception arw officc space, a communkvtraining room. an arts and culturnl
hub and a communal kitchen. Core activiti¢s15CTViCeS at Skeoge House include a Scniow Citizens Luntheon Club,
ttaininweducalion programmes for adults, trainee ¢mployment opportunities, a men's h¢alth prowm4 the
P¢rsonal Youth Development Prngramme. youih projects in partnership with the Educalion Auihority and general
community development activities which involve environmenial improvernent project& community allotmrnts,
summer festival. Christmas Winter Wonderland and a rang¢ of sociavrecreational activities throughout the year.

support a range of agencies on a weekly basis and these include Skeoge House Women's Group, Alcohol
Anonymous after¢are projecL On the Streets Youth Initiative W'IK) Utilise the premises lo provide youth
diversionary activities for teenagers in the area and the North West Regional College who utAlis¢ "Skeoge House,
as an outreach centre for local and accessible further education progr2mmes. LCA Ltd also manages several social
economy projects such as the i£afair 3G Pitches, ILafair Green Gym, Sk¢oge Community Transport and Leafair
Men's Workshop.
The Focus of our Work
The main purpose of LCA Ltd is lo have a more educated and qualif*d populatioffj a reduction in poverty on
[￿ople lives and io preveni poverty on people living in the Ouler North Area rLsuliing in Improv￿ health and
well-being.
