## Annual Report and Statement of Accounts for the year to 31[st] August 2022 

_The parent’s committee are pleased to submit their report and accounts for the year 1[st] September 2021 to 31[st] August 2022._ 

The parent’s community for the year was tentatively but slowly beginning to host small but a limited number of activities and meetings, due to the transition, post covid, which had previously and severely disrupted our fund raising abilities. 

## Objectives and Activities 

The object of the parent’s community as set out in our constitution is to advance the education of pupils in the school and particular by; 

1. Developing affective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. 

2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of pupils.

## Trustee selection and management 

_The parents community is managed by a committee which consists of all the appointed trustees. Meetings are held bi-monthly during the school year, where all members are able to attend and contribute. The Annual Report and Accounts are approved by the Trustees and presented to members at the AGM, where trustees are also elected and appointed._ 

## Financial Review 

_Performance to the year ending 31[st] August 2022, with a net spend of £_ 1,728.15 _._ 

## INCOME 

_Our income raised via organised events, a council grant and Easyfundraising (money raised through online purchases made my parents) was £5947.07._ 

## EXPENDITURE 

_Magicain at the half term event £350._ 

_Membership of Parentkind includes insurance at £116_ 

_Cash withdrawl to the value of £720 – to cover family fun night invoices paid in cash_ 

_Provision of outdoor play equipement £542.15_

## Financial management 

_The Parents Community limits its income potential by following a policy of only spending funds which it has available._ 

_The year closed with £5519.34 banked and_ _**157** cash in hand_
