REVIEW OF THE BUSINESS The charitable purpose of Peatlands Playgroup Limited is the advan¢ement of education. The company's principal activity is the provision of playgroup faeilities. During the past period the main activity of the company remained unchanged and the directors anticipaie that any future developments would relate to this activity. RESULTS AND DIVIDENDS The directors consider that the results for the period were satisfactory, and remain confident that trading prospects will improve further in the next accounting period. The surplu5 for the period amounted to £9.156 and has been transferred to reseryes. POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS AND CHARITABLE DONATIONS The company made no charitable or political donations requiring disclosure. tNTERESTS OF DIRECTORS The company 15 limited by guarantee and does not have any share capital. Therefore the direclors and secretary who served during the year did not have a beneficial interest in ihe company. All dirertors serve in a voluntary capacity. Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner As the charity's trustces you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland} 2008.
