Trustees Annual Report for Year Ended 181 April 2024
The Trustees present their report and accounts for North West Community First
R8sponders for year ended 1" April 2024. Public Benefit Statement North West
Community First Responders confirm that they have had due regard for the guidance on
the Public Benefit by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland and are pleased to
report that during the period, the group continued to provide the Public Benefit through
the programmes and services on offer. In particular. the Trustees consider how planned
activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they are set.

The direct benefits that flow from our purpos8 are to recrult, coordinate and equip local
volunteers. Volunteers ar8 trained and alerted by Nl Ambul8nc8 S6rvlc8 to assess and
provide an appropriate intervention to thos8 Wlth appropriate medical emergencies in
their localities. North West Communlty First Responders carries out its purpose by
providing r8SUSCltation, c8re and support to a casualty pendlng the arrival of an
emergency ambulance which will be disp8tched simultaneously with the first
responders. The group averages 70 alerts per month, with an average response rate of
20% of alerts 8ttended by responders.
Achlevement8 and Performanc8
Following the creation of the group, North West Communlty First Responders contlnued
to fundrais6 throughout period to 101 April 2024.
The tot8l income for the perlod amounted to £7,537. The income entirely derived from
donations and gifts.
£2,931 was invest8d in equipment such as Defibrillators and kits for responders.
£690.17 of general running costs of the group which included insurance and bank fees;
allowing for a total carried forward in r8serve of £12,696.83 to be able to carry on it's
charitable activities.
The Trustees consider that North West Community First Responders is in a satisfactory
position to continue to carry on its charitable activities.
This brings the charity up to date with it's current obligations on reporting
