Public Benefit Statement North West Community First Responders confirm that they hav6 had due regard for the guidance on the Public Benefit by th8 Charity Commission for Northern Ireland and are pleased to report that during the period, the group continued to provide the Public Benefit through the programmes and services on offer. In particular, the Trustees consider how planned activlties will contribute to the aim8 and objectives they are set. Publlc 88neflt The direct benefits that flow from our purpose are to recruit, coordin8te and equip local volunteers. Volunteers are trained 8nd alerted by Nl Ambul8nce Servic8 to assess and provide an appropriate intervention to thos8 Wlth appropri8te medical em8rgencies in their localities. North West Community First Responders carries out its purpose by providing resuscitation. car8 and support to a c88ualty pending the arrival of an emergency ambulance which will be dlspatchecl simultaneously with the first responder8. The group averages 70 8lerts per month, with an aver8ge response rate of 20% of alerts attended by responders. Achlev8m8nts and Performanc8 Following th8 creation of the group, North West Community First Responders contlnued to fundraise throughout period to 181 April 2023. The total income for the period amounted to £3,940. The income entirely derlved from donations and gifts. £2,100 was invested In equipment such 88 Defibrillators and klts for responders, and a further £450 in associated responder consumables such as AED pads and batteries £675.67 of general running costs of the group which included insurance, uniform, stationery and IT expenses for the group; allowing for a total carried forward in reserve of £8,781 to be able to carry on it's charitable activities. The Trustees consider that North West Community First Responders is in a satisfactory position to continue to carry on its charitable activities.

Respectlve Responsibllities of the trustees and examln8r As the Chrity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: Examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act 2008 Followthe procedure laid down in the general Directions given bythe commisslon undersection 65(9)Ib) of the Charities Act 2008; State whether particular matters have come to my attention Basis of the Independent Examlners Report I have examined your Charity Accounts as required undèr section 65 of the Charitles Act and my examin8tion was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charities Commisslon for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the 8ccounting records kept by the Charity and 8 compari80n of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consider8tion of any unusual items or disclosed in the accounts, and seeing explanations from you 88 Charity Trustees concerning any such matters. My role is to state where 8ny m8terial matters have come to my attentlon giving me cause to believe: 1. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charlties Act. 2.
