The directors present their report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2022.
Objectives and activities
Culmore Community Partnership d¢livers an accessible, free service to the people of Culmore from our
community hub in Victoria Hall. We engage regularly and effectively with local p¢ople through newsletters,
surveys and our programmes and services to tap into their talents and to ensure that what we do is relevant to
their needs. We engage with neighbouring areas to develop links that benefit local people socially and
economically and reduce isolation. We deliver programmes for youth and the elderly; coordinate the local
delivery of essential services. and promote local arts, culture and heritage to attract visitors aiid contribute to
social cohesion. Underpinning tliis work are our key values of commitment to community development.

company was established under Memorandum & Articles of Association whicli outlined the area of benefit
and the objects of the cliaritable organisation.

Directors Responsibilities In Relation To The Financial Statements
The Directors of Culmore Community Partnership Ltd for the purposes of company law are responsible for
preparing the Directors, Annual report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and
United Kingdom Accounting Standards ( United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year that give a true and
fair view of the state of the affairs of the cliarity at the end of the financial year and of its surplus or deficit for
the financial year. In doing so the directors are required to:
select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently;
observe methods and principles in the Charities SORP (FRSI 02);
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;
state whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any material departures
disclosed and explained in the financial statements;
prepare the financial statements on tlie going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the
charity will continue in business.
The directors are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records whiclj disclose witli reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enables them to ensure that the financial
statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. Th¢ directors are also responsible for safeguarding the
assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonabl¢ steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other
irregularities.

We report on the accounts of the company for the year ended 31 December 2022, which are set out on pages 5
to 13.

As the charity directors you are respoiisible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance witli the
requirements of tlie Compaiiies Act 2006. Having satisfied ourselves that the charity is not subject to audit
under company law. and is eligible for independent exainination, it is our responsibility to;
examine tlie accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act 2008;
follow the procedures laid down in tlie general directioiis given by the Charity Coininissioii for Northern
Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act 2008.

Basis of indopcndent examlner's report
We have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and our examination
was carried out in accordance with th¢ general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern
Ireland under Section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accouiiting
records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations from you as charity
directors concerning any such matters.
Our role is to state whether any material matters have come to our attention giving us cause to believe:
that accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 3 86 of th¢ Companies Act 2006;
tliat the accounts do not accord with those accounting reGords;
that the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Section 396 of the Companies Act
2006 and the methods and principles of the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to
charities preparing their accounts in accordance with tlie f4inancial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republic of Ireland;
that there is further information needed for proper understanding,

As the charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 the examiner Inust be a member of a listed body. We can
confirm that we are qualified to undertake the examination as we are registered as members of Chartered
Accountant Ireland which is one of the listed bodies.
We have completed our exainiiiation and have no concerns iii respect of the matters listed above and, in
connection with following the directions of the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, we have found no

The company is a private company limited by guarantee, registered in Northern Ireland. The address of

Statement of compliance
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of tlie financial statements are set out
below and liave remained unchanged froin the previous year, and also have been consistently applied
within tlie same accounts.
The charity constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRSI 02. The financial statements have
been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended
Practice applie2ble to charities preparing tlieir accounts in a¢¢ordance witli the Financial Reporting
Standard applicable in tlie UK and Republic of Ireland Charities SORP (FRSI 02), tlie Companies Act
2006 and the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
The financial statements are prepared on a going concern basis under the historical cost convention,
modified to included certain items at fair valu¢. The finaiicial statements are presented in sterling
which is the functional currency of the charity.
