Summary of the yearfs actlvlties of the charlty to further Its purposes for the public
benefit.
This year we had a specific emphasls on Older People and also Carer Support.
Mindfulness, and Healthy eating
Participation in the continued development of a Community Garden
Chair based yoga and lunch/Strength and balance and lunch/ Health and well-being
programme/crochet/soap making/flower arranging/pottery/legal aspects/
Afternoon tea
Pensioners Christmas lunch/Christmas treats
Carers Christmas evening dinner

Theatre trip to Dublin
Supporting the Life and Time Charity Appeal

The beneficiaries of the charity's activitie5 and events were the general public in the
greater Drumgath/Rathfriland areas.
None of the activities/events undertaken were harmful in any way.
Oblects of the charity are:
-Advance learning opportunities.
-Preserve and protect health
-Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure
time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for said women,
youth and aged of the community.
Reducing social isolation and loneliness by offering opportunities to meet, socialise,
learn and have fun.

give up their time and energy for the benefit of the general public. The charity itself is run
by volunteers and has no paid staff. Their contribution is very much appreciated.

The performance of Drumgath Ladies Group has made a significant difference to the lives of
the beneficiaries in many ways during the year in terms of, creating opportunltles to
socialise, reduce social isolation and loneliness, learn new skills and have fun in a safe and
