Membership for the 2023124 year was 436 young people, 8-13 118, 14+ 318,
Durlng thls fundlng year the organisation ran alongside drop in provision a total of 18 targeted programmes

Participation (ambassadors leadership programme)
Environment and climate change

These targeted pieces were delivered to a total of 294 partlclpants over the fundlng year.
As an approved Duke of Edinburgh's Award Centra, those aged 14-25 years, can improve skills and increase
life chances and employability through the biggest youth award scheme in the UK. In 2023124 34 active
participants aiming for accreditation at Bronze, Silver and Gold,
The Education Authority Local Area Based Funding Specification for April 2021 March 2023 outlines
programme of targeted youth work to be delivered at Seagoe Youth Group. We have taken the six areas of
action and designed our own youth work delivery model to unify the themes of targeted work set out in the EA
Local Area-Based Funding Specification. Seagoe Youth Group has developed the 'THINK' Programme to unify
the variety of youth work delivery outlined in the EA Spacification. Members in each age range gained the
'THINK' Programme certification for participation in group work.
Quarterly moderation reports by the EA have recognized our work as outstandlng and Good in many areas
including outcomes for learners, quality of provision and leadership and management.
"The organisation has designed a model of delivery well matched to the needs of the young people, whlch they
assess regularly and comprehensively Their 'THINK' programme also correlates closely to the entire Funding
Opportunity for the area and is reflective of the moderation theme and focus. THINK- Is it true? Helpful?
Inspiring? Necessary? Kind? encourages critical thinking and independence in the young people and the model
themes eg. Think Inclusion, Think Nl etc are reflected in the programmes delivered and in the ethos of the
provision. Young people are heavily involved in co-design with the ambassador's programme and regular
contributions via surveys and focus groups. Programmes are differentiated to meet the broad needs of the young
people. Different methods of outreach and detached are utilised throughout the year and 'new' young people
are qulck to participate in provision. The scope of the curriculum is broad and varied and CRED is evident at
many levels-new posters, designed internally, link the young people to CRED and inclusion themes, diverslty of
membership is celebrated and encouraged-LGBTQ young people, BME young people and those from a range
of religious backgrounds and with a range of abilities all participating on the night of the moderation." Mary
