**Purposes:** The Charity’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following:	   To promote the benefit of the Indian community in Northern Ireland (‘the area of benefit’) by the provision of facilities for education, culture, religion, recreation or other leisure time occupation for the different traditions among the Indian community in the area of benefit who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.  To advance education about the cultures of India for the benefit of the public and promote cultural diversity among the public in Northern Ireland by any charitable means as the directors may determine”,
