INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF BELFAST AND LISBURN COMMUNITY PROJECT

Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that the charity is not subject to the statutory audit requirement for the year.
It is my responsibility to:
° state whether any matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to think that: 1. accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 386 of the Companies Act 2006 (where applicable) or 2. section 130 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008; or 3. the accounts do not accord with those records; or the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair view’ which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination; or 4. there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. . State whether any matter has come to my attention in connection with the examination to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in the report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under Article 70 of the Charities (Northern Ireland) Order 2007. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts Presented with those
records. It also includes considering any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently | do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.
Independent Examiner's Statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:

which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the accounting records have not been kept in accordance with section 386 of the Companies Act 2006 (where applicable) or section 130 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008; or

to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
