Fei5 Dholre Cholmcille Is an annual feis that commences each year from Tuesday of Easter week
and run5 to the Friday Inclu51ve. It provides a platform for children between the ales of 4 to 18
year olds from mu51c, drama, prlmaryi Post primary and grammar schools to showcase thelr talents
by taklng part In competitlon5 In the chosen fleld of drama, mu51c, Instrumental, Irish lan8uaBe and
Irlsh dancing. At the annual fels each partl¢ipatln8 competltor or group beneflts from an adludlcatlon
of thelr performance from a professlonally tralned adludlcator whlch Is Intended to encourage,
traln, and develop thelr abilities In thelr chosen d15clpllne. They galn a deeper appre¢latlon of thelr
repertolre and of the work and performance of other5 durlng their partlclpatlon. Performances are
witnessed by and audlence who get the beneflt of seelng a performance and hearln8 an adjudlcatlon.

Members Responslbilltles In Relation To The Financial Statements
The members are responsible for preparlng the annual report and the financial statements in
accordance with appllcable law and United Kingdom Generally Accepted Acountlng Practlce.
The law appllcable to charities in Northern Ireland requlres the members to prepare the financlal
statements that 8ive atrue and fair view of the state of affalrs of the charity at the end of the
financlal year and of its surplus or deflclt for the flnancial year. In doing so the members are
requlred to:
select suitable accountlng pollcles and apply them consistently;
observe methods and principles in the Charities SORP;
make Judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;
prepare the flnanclal statements on the golng concern basls unless It is
Inappropriate to presume that the charlty wlll contlnue In buslness.
The members are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which disclose
with reasonable accuracy at any tlme the flnanclal posltlon of the charlty and enables them
to ensure that the financial statements comply wlth the necessary leglslatlon.The members
are also responsible for safeguardlng the assets of the charlty and hence for taking
reasonable steps for the preventlon and detectlon of fraud and other irregularities.
