Dale introduced herself to everyone present and explained that she is from Ballysillan Community Forum and would be chairing the meeting. Dale asked Kelly to give her annual report... 

## **Community Development report** 

Thanks everyone for coming. We the staff would like to personally say a big thank you to the committee for their support of the past year. It has been a very stressful time with Belfast City council play services, we have had to sleepless nights thinking we were going to lose this service. We have secured one more year until July 2025 we are unsure what will happen after this and we don’t have the mental health energy to pursue this. 

All groups are going well; pumpkin patch was a great success this year again. Christmas this year is a movie night, with a 14ft screen just for the kids who use the centre weekly. Funding is becoming harder to source but we have been successful with awards for all for our new sensory room and summer scheme. NIHE cohesion for the pumpkin patch and Christmas. DFC have finally made both staff up to the national living wage. 

New alarm system was installed as it was old and not fit for purpose any longer. 

Grounds need a makeover as it is now a health and safety issue as the brick work is getting worse.
