Section meetings look place weekly during le￿n-tiMe. folli)wing a slnjctured progfamme of ag&relaled
games and actswties. to engage and support young people in their personal development. empowering
them lo make a positive contribulion to society.
Annually, our sectional weekly programmes move from Lowe to Ardnavally Scoui Centre from Easter to
June, following an outdoor prcoramme, covering a range of age-relaled outdtsN adivities.
All sections attended a number of camps and outdoor events, from Ackn"wty DayslCompeb"lions to
weekend sleepovers and camps. with all attendiog a joint Group Camp dunng the summer at
Crawfordsbum Scout Activity Cenlre. In particular, the Scouts attended a Big Sleep Out. the Exploref5
Survival camp. with both sections completing Expeditions.
We also attended celebratory events= Platinum Jubilee. Christmas. Hallowe'en.
All sections are now active, smlh the Squirre1514*). Beavers (6-8). Cubs1&10). the Scouts11 t￿14). and
Ihe Explorer section {14-18). We have a total membership of over 100. Young people in all Sections
have been awarded lop awards.
The Scout Group appreciates the support of Lowe Mernori￿ Church in the use of their premises. and
their unwavering support.
The leadership teams in each section appreciate the work of the Group Executrve Committee. who
support the work done by the group, both wlh their time and finanually. Funds are allocated to enhanc
activities and events that encourage our young people to become n￿re independent and sew-reliant.

Scout Development Tfusl.. both of which enable us to provide such a variable programme.
The operation of the Scout Group depends on volunteers. Counul records Iheir thanks lo leaders who
give their time weekly lo provide a quality Scouknng prc*3ramme for Ihe benefit ol our young people.
