Objectives and Activities

The objects of the charity are to improve, clean up and maintain the local Craigywarren area. The charity aims to encourage residents in the area to clean up and participate in fun days and community events the group are organizing. The charity also seeks to encourage neighbor relations and to bring the community together to try to help reduce social isolation in within our rural area. The main activities taken on by the group are cleaning up the local area and providing community fun days, seniors dinner, kids fun days and trips to the Pantomime.

Achievements and Performance

As we had a big celebration this year for The Queens Platinum Jubilee, we were able to treat local residents to an afternoon tea in the local orange hall. We also we able to hold several events for young people in the area with a trip to the local soft play area and a trip to the Panto with was enjoyed by the young and old alike. The group were once again able to host there annual Christmas dinner for the seniors in the area.

Financial Review

Total receipts for the year are £2516.22 which consists of £1521.22 from grants from the Mid and East Borough Council, £460 from an NIHE grant for the pantomime and through fund raising and donations which amounted to £535 was raised. Payments received totalled £4483.86 during the year leaving a fund balance of £1342.24.
