REPORT for the finano<il year ended 31 December 2022 Review of Activities, Achievements and Perforniance The trustees, vla the committee, nomially organise a number of events during the year. The programme of events for 2022 was regreltably curtailed by the continuing global Covld-19 pandemlc and Ihe closure of the main building due to exlensive renovation wod(s. FollowNig some relaxation of [kdOWn restrictions, a few events did lake plac6 and trips away resumed. As Ihe bulldlng remained closed for major renovations, weekly meetings took place In the temporary portacabln located at Ihe rear of the main premises. A number of projects were undertaken in 2022. Refurbishment of the exlemal seating of St Bronagh's GAA club was carried out in recogr)ilion of their loan of their rooms for meetings. A sign was made for the Happiness C8fas and a bookcase made for Kilbroney Community Association. Members took part in a river clean in January and again in July and a new Ini118tlve was Introduced In lh6 fomi of 8 beach clean which look place in July. Members took part in health and safely and fire marshals, course organised by NMDDC. Members allended orienteering events in Bessbrook and a men's health event organised by NMDDC in the Whlslledown Hol81. A stsnd w8S taken at Kllbroney Show and another al W8rrenpolnt Christmas fair. A numbor of table quizzes were allended. A round the island of Ireland sailing trip invofved many members complellng the Individu8118gs in shifts. As part of the ongo5ng support package with NMDDC, trustees comp161ed first aid courses, fire m3rshals' cour8e and a leglonella course. The charity had income of £11,459 and expenditure of £9,735 resulling in 8 surplus of £1,724. The charlty hBé resirfcled reserves al 31 December 2022 of £368 and unrestricted reserves of £2.820. Golng Concem The trustees are satlsfled that there are adequate funds In place lo ensure that the charily can ex)nllnue Its activities and as a result Ihe financial stalemenls for the year ended 31 December 2022 are prepared on the going concern basis. Rosults and Dlvldends Al the end of the financial year the charity has assets of £3,188 {2021 - £1.464) and liabililies of £O.0012021 £0.00). The net assets of the charlly have increased by £1,724.
