The principal docum8nl regardlng governanee of the Ghadly Is the constllution. The Gommlltee mombers are Ih
Charlty Trustees. The charlly Is an unincorporaled organlsalbn.
Organisalional Structure
The commlttee Ss responslble for the day to day runnlng of th8 charlly. The commlttee Is made up of at least ten
voluntaèrs elecl8d each year al an Annual General Meeting. The committee stands down al the Annual General
Meeting each year and a new committ8e 18 appointed in Ilne wilh Ihe conslltullon.
All commlllee members and truslees are volunleer8. Nowone re¢eSves payment for services.

Review of Aetlvltles. Achievements and Performance
The trustees. vla the commlttee, nonnally organise a nurnber of events during the year. The programme of èvents for
2022 was regrèttably curtailed by the continuing global Covid-19 pandemlc and the closure of the maln building due
to exlensive renovation wod(s. Following some reLaxation of lockdown restrictions. a few events dKI lake place and
trips away resumad.
AS the building remained closed for major renovatlons, weekly m&etings took place in the temporary porta¢abin
located al the rear of the m8in premise5.
A numb8r of projects were undertak6n in 2022. Refurbishment of the extemal s6ating of St Bronagh's GAA club was
¢arrled out in recognition of Iheir loan of th8ir rooms for meelings. A sign was made for the Happiness Cafés and a
bookcase made for Kilbroney Community Association.
Mémbers took part In a ￿Ver clean in January and again in July and a new initiative was Introduced in the fonn of a
bea¢h clean which took place In July. Members look part in h8alth and safety and fire marshals, course organ5sed by
NMDDC. M8mbers attended orienteerlng events in Bgssbrook and a men's health event organlsed by NMDDC In
the Whlslledown Hotel. A sland was taken al Kllbroney Show and another at Warrenpoint Christmas fair. A number of
table quizzes were allended. A round th6 island of Ireland sailing trip Involved many membors complellng the
individual legs In shifts. Rostrevor Man's Shed assisted marshalling the DarfKness inlo Light evenl in Kllbroney Park
and th8 Halloween Spooklacular In October.
Talks were given as follows,. Wayne Denner on inlernel securily. RNID on hearing loss. WRDA on bowel ￿ncer.,
PSNI on home seourily; Gommunily Advice on household expenditure: and a member of the Cognizant Aston Martln
Fomiula 1 team oulllned her activities In motor racing.

Three trlps look place durlng the year: the Hlnch Dlslilley. Collins Barracks and Johnny Foxes Pub- and Ihe Seamus
Heaney Cenlre. All wer8 ov8r-subscrlbed.
Bulldlng
Works on No 16, The Square ¢onllnued, bul were continually delayed meanlng the re-openlng date was constantly
pul bad(. As part of the ongoing support package with NMDDC, Iruslees completed first aid courses, nre m8rshals'
course and a legionella cours8.

Durlng the finanG181 yeaT the charity conllnued to ralse funds vla grant asslstsnce, sale of goods, donallons recelv8d
and via the facilities managemanl agreement wlh NMDDC.
The receipts 8nd payments accounts set out on p8ge 7 reflect the aGlivllles undertaken by the charity in 2022. Th8
ch8rity h8d income of £11,459 and expendllure of £9,735 r8sulllng In a surplus of £1.724. The ¢harlty h8d restricted
roserves al 31 December 2022 of £368 and unreslricied reserves of £2.820.
Going Concern
The Irustees are sallsfied that there are adequale funds in place to ensure Ihal Ihe charity can contlnue Ils activities
and as a result the flnancial slatements for Ihe year ended 31 Dec8mber 2022 are prepared on Ihe going concern
basls.
Results and Divldends
Al the end of the financial year the charlty has ass8ls of £3.188 {2021- £1.464) and Ilabllilies of £O.0012021- £0.00).
The net assets of the charity have InGreased by £1.724.

agreed to state lo them in this report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent pemiilled by law, we do not
