## Activities

**Purposes:** The purposes of the charity are to support parents, carers of, and individuals with Down’s Syndrome (hereinafter called “the beneficiaries”) in County Fermanagh (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said beneficiaries, and in particular to:  a) foster an atmosphere of mutual support among the beneficiaries and to facilitate a forum for mutual support;  b) provide activities and or facilities in the interests of promoting health, wellbeing and social welfare for the beneficiaries;  c) raise awareness, for the benefit of the public, about Down's Syndrome, and methods of treatment and management of the condition.

**What the charity does:** The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
