As 3 8roup we strlve to ensure that all parents and staff are actlvely involved In our operation. We do this by regularly updatlng parents on events and upcomlng actlvSties vla the school new51etter, school twltter and PTA Facebook. Every year we organ55e a calendar of fundraising activities and these include famlly, parent and chlldren only events e.g. pupll dlsc05, annual Chrlstmas falr, school fetes, movle nlghts Our artivities during this year. Scarecrow Day We held a Scarecrow Day which all the children dressed as up scarecrows. We had some very extravagant scarecrows and prizes were awarded for the best 'dres%ed' scarecrows. ChrSstmas Colourlng Compelltlon We sold Christmas colourin8 sheets to the children who really took their time and lots of effort to ensure it was done well. Prizes were awarded to the best colourlng sheet in each class. Chrlstm•s Sttr•t Santa Cornpetltlon We had great fun wlth our Secret Santa competition with some really mysterlous 'Sants's' whlch kept many people 8uesslnB. Prlzes were awarded to 1 2 and 3 corrert entrles, Chr15tmas Sants Drlve by PTA arranged for Santa to drlve by wlth hls tractor Ihls slelgh was beln8 flxed up for Chrlstmas Evel. The children had great fund 5eeSn8 and wavlng to hlm and each chlld recelved a selectlon box and reindeer food for Chrlstmas Eve. We•r what you love Dav We asked all the chSldren to 'wear what you love, to school for a day. The chlldren really dld love It wlth some very fashlonable outhts, and we even had some In thelr PJ'S. KCPS Bobble Hats We purchased some branded KCPS Bobble Hats thls year so be sold to KCPS famllle5 for klds and adults land proved very popular wlth our teachers and classroom assistants for the play8round dutlesl. Sports Dav We eKtended our sports day to include Some refreshments with tea/coffee and donuts being seNed as well as sweetle mlx-ups and fun toys for sale whlch were very popular. The sun was shinin& and the day was a great success. Feel Good Fridays We decided in June to have non-uniform days with a difference. The kids got to wear what they wanted for the day and received an ice-lolly to make them 'Feel Good, with all their classmates a5 we reached the end of term. Colour Ru Thls certainly got the interest of the kid5, all that mes51 We had great support from our KCPS famllles, and some even lolned In the fun to be hadl It was a colourful dlsplay and we had Ice-cream to rDund off the day for all the kid5. P7 Le•¥ers Assémbly A sad but excitin8 part of the year to See our P7,5 make the tran51tion to bi8 school. We supplled tea, coffee, snacks and cake for thelr leavers assembly to help see them on thelr way. We wlsh them every succe55 in thelr new schools. Vnfortunately, our fundralslng actlvltles were stlll reslrfcted somewhat thls year, but we look forward to a tlme when we can resume to nomiallty and have many more good tSmes. Statement of Thanks.
