Atticall Youth Club Trustees, Annual Report (conlinu8d) Year ended 31 August 2021 Objectives and activities The principal activity ol the club continued to be working towards the aims of Atticall Youth Club.. To provide recreational and development activities lor young people ol the surrounding area To provide informal educational programmes lor young people To provide a safe place lor young people to mix with their peers To provide incentives lo the young people To provide an interest and community spirit in young people The membership ol Atticall Youth Club is open lo all young people ages seven and over, from the local area. A¢hlevement$ and performan¢e The youth club had a very short period this year due lo COVID. The children were able lo participate in Mini First Aid and Boxing however other planned activities were unable to go ahead due lo COVID. A grant from the Lollery Community Fund received in 2020 was ulilised and the sports activity was able lo lake place outside during the summer months. This was a huge success and enjoyed by all those who participated. Our lunder support is vital in enabling the Youth Club to enrich the lives and experiences of the children in our rural community. Therefore, we lake this opportunrfty lo extend a heartfelt thank you lo each individual or organisalion that has assisted us since we were founded in 2012. Financial review The Club ended the period with a balance of £12,037 in our Youth Club Current Account and £250 in cash in hand. Receipts and payments lor the year are summarised on page 4. A nel payment of £1,613 was recorded lor the year. Plans for future periods Aiiicall Youth Club looks towards 2022-23 with positive enthusiasm whilst welcoming new members and volunteers. We aim to expand our reach into the community and provide further opportunities lor volunteering within the community. We aim to deliver more programmes of interest lo the children that are ol educational value to them. We aim lo keep Atticall Youth Club fun and interesting for all of ils members.
