The charlty is a public benefit entity and a registered charity in Northern Ireland and is
unlncorporated. The address of thg principal office is Unit 4 Greystone Shopping Centre, Antrim,

Statement of compllance
These financlal stat8menls have been prepared in compllance with FRS 102, 'The Financial
Reporting Standard applicab18 In th8 UK and the Republlc of Ireland,, the Statem8nt of
Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing thelr accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reportlng Standard 8pplicable in the UK and Republlc of Ireland (FRS 102) (Charities
SORP (FRS 102)) and the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The flnancial statements hav8 been prepar8d on the historical cost basis, as modffied by th6
revaluation of certain finanGial assets and liabillties and investment properties measured at fair
value through incom8 or expgnditure.
The financial stalements are prepared in sterling, which is the functlonal currency of the entity.
Golng concern
There are no material uncertainties about the charlty's ablllty to continue.
Fund aGGounting
Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discrgtion of the trustees to further any of th8
charity's purposos.
Designated funds are unrestrfcted funds earmarked by the trustees for part5cul8r future project or
commitment.
Restrlcted funds are subjected to restrictions on their expenditure declared by the donor or through
Ihe terms of an appeal and fall inlo one Df two sub-classes.. restricted income funds or endowmenl
funds.

All incoming resources are Included In the statement of financial actlvities when entitlement has
passed to the charity, it is probable that the economic benefits associated wilh the transaction will

Resources expended
Expenditure is recognised on an accruals basis as a liability is incurred. Expenditure includes any
VAT which cannot be fully recovered, and Is classified under headings of th8 statement of financial
actlvities to which it relates.,

Flnanclal Instruments
A financial asset or a financial liability is r&cognls&d only when the charity becomes a party to the
contractual provisions of the inslrum8nt.
Basic financial instruments are Inltlally recognised at the amount receivable or payable including
any related transaclion costs,

assessed individually or grouped on the basis of similar credit risk characteristics.
Any reversals of impairment are recognlsed immed5ately, to Ihe extent that the reversal does not
result in a carrying amount of the financlal asset that exceeds what the carrying amount would
have been had the impairment not previously been recognlsed.
