to members homes and when restrictions alk•wed we met face to face at external

A review of the chan'ty's fmancial wjsition at the end of the year.
In the financial year ended 31 August 2022 the Charity had an income of £2727.40 and an
expenditure of £1819.05
12. How has the Unit ensured members have not come to harnig
All Icaders and parent helpers receive training in Safeguarding. which is renewcd ev¢ry 2
years and are Access Nl every 3 years. Leaders are ￿Uired to aitend Step One Guiders
Course. Other training is available lo leade￿ such as Step 2 and Advanced Leaders
training. A valid Camp Wa￿ant must be held by at least one leader who wishes to take the
young people away either indoors or outdoors. this includ&s doing First Aid which needs to
be updated every 3 years. Parcnts are regularly updated with planned activities. All
activities are c&efully p]anned aad the appropriate equipment used.

Volunteers gain additional transfetrable skills but this is incidental to the work that they do

We the Trustees of Church of the Nativity(Guide Unit can confmn that in setting our
objectives and planning for the year that we have given careful consideration to the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on pubh'c benefit to ensure that the activities
have helped to achieve the cbarity's pu4)oses and provide a benefil to the beneficiaries.
