Its members devote themselves to the teachings of Scripture, to fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer and evangelistll. They cotnmit, with the help of God, to be a witne55 to the saving and sustaining power of the Lord Jesus Christ and to work for the extension of His Kingdom. The principAI r.haritable objective of the church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the teachings of Scripture, the Ooctrinal Statement and Baptist principles. Achievement and Performance 2023 saw the building of our ministries across the church. Funds allowed us to make some improvem@ntS to the facility most notably in upgrading the sound system. Our regular Sunday 5ervice5 together wlth Sunday School and Blble Class and our Wednesday night prayer meeting alon8 With all our other regular activitie5 have been well attended and our community café, community carol service and schoo15 ministry have providod opportunity for the frJrtharance of our gospel work. The congregation of Emmanuel Baptlst have been able zo provlde finances to support our pastors and ministry interns. Additionally, we have been able to contribute to other vaiious Christian Missionary work at home and abroad. The trustees are thankful for the support from all involved in th@ charity and are grateful that after the expendiiure on charitable activitie5 we finished the Year with a small surplus. The work and witness of Emmanuel Baptist Church is founded on the authority of the Holy Bible that reveals God's love for mankind in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Saviour of sinners and this we believe to have been the tase during 2023.
