3. The Purpose of the Charlty:
The charity's purpose is "The Advancement of Religlon" speclflcally the
advancement of the Christian faith according to Biblical principles.
4. Trustee Appolntments
The Charity Trustees are the members of the Church Overslght Commlttee
which consists of Pastor, Elders and Deacons.
All male members of the Church are eligible for election as a deacon and,
unless disqualifled by Statute, also to hold office as a trustee.
Elders are elected for life, unless they choose to retlre or leave the Fellowshlp,
whlle Pastors serve for the period of their pastorate.
The Church's Constitution requlres a two thlrds majority of those votlng by
ballot for the appolntment of a Pastor.
Church members vote by ballot for these offlces at a Church Business Meeting
which is open to all church members and is publicly announced at the services
on the previous two Sundays.
The names of the Charlty Trustees on 31st December 2023 were Edward
Bissett and Raymond Green. At the time of signing thls report, they are
Edward Bissett, Raymond Green, Ian Courtney and Ian Milllken.
5. Thls report relates to the flnanclal year l January 2023 to 31 December
2023.
6. Our Charlty's maln actlvltles to further our purposes for the Publlc
Benefit are as follows:
We seek to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Chrlst as outlined in the
Scriptures.
The benefit which flows from our purpose is that through attendlng Sunday
Services and Blble Study Meetings, the regular congregation and visitors will
get to know God in a deeper, fuller and more personal way.
The benefits are evidenced through personal feedback to the Elders, from
indlviduals who have come into a closer relationship with God through the
Bible teaching and fellowship experienced.
In addition to our Sunday Services and Mid-week Meetings as arranged, we
have our Sunday School meetings throughout the school year.
We also have Fellowship Dinners after the main service at intervals through
the year which are provided free of charge to all who attend. All these
gatherings are open to the public with additional visitors attending, and a
number have become regular attenders through the current year.
While the Covid Regulations and restrictions had caused the cancellation of all
meetlngs it still has not been possible to have the previous range of meetings
since.

Pastoral support and visitatlon for the sick and elderly continued throughout
the year including regular visits to a local nursing home wlth a monthly
Sunday service.
Periodically we have special speakers on a Sunday Morning, with a Missionary
or other Christian worker, and donations are given to help other Christian
works.
The Trustees gratefully acknowledge the voluntary assistance of many of the
members of the congregation who freely give of thelr time and talents to
support the worship and operations of the church.
7. Publlc Benefit Requlrement
All of our Trustees are aware of and have regard to the Charlty Commlssion's
Publlc Beneflt Requirement throughout the year.

9. Payments to Trustees
No Trustee received any payment for undertaklng trustee dutles. Payments to
the Pastor relate to expenses incurred in the performance of the duties of
pastor. Where Trustees have purchased items on behalf of the Charlty these
costs are usually reimbursed.
10. Custodlan Trustees
Premises owned by the Charlty are held under trust by "Custodian Trustees"
whose sole function is to hold the property assets of the Church. The
Custodlan Trustees are not named indivlduals, so do not serve In the Church.
11. Actlon on Deflclt Funds.
There are no funds held by the Charlty that are In deflclt, so no actlon Is
required.
