Activities
The Club is established to promote the benefit of young people in the Fountain area of Londonderry and surrounding areas in Londonderry (hereinafter called ''area of benefit'') and to educate and assist such young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and emotional capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and so that their conditions of life may be improved, and in particular to: a) provide facilities, in the interests of social welfare, for education, recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said young people. b) Promote capacity-building among young people from the area of benefit who are disadvantaged as a result of their social or economic circumstances in an effort to encourage them to develop confidence, self esteem, and leadership skills and encouraging a sense of social responsibility.
