**Purposes:** The Association is established to:  the Association is established for the advancement of community development and active citizenship for the public benefit of the inhabitants of the Glenburn and district area of Magherafelt (hereinafter referred to as the 'area of benefit') by the following means:   -working with relevant agencies to improve the services and facilities for local people. -the provision of events and activities for the public benefit of the inhabitants of Glenburn.   to establish or to secure the establishment of a Community Centre (hereinafter called "the Centre") and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a Centre for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects
