The projects ran by the group enhance the community spirit and helps to relieve the feeling of isolation felt by so many. The benefits can be demonstrated bythe footfall that we have at our programme8 and events. ti Al In setting our objectives and planning our activities forthe year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission Nl's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity's purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries. th We ran our annual 11 July Family Funday. We continued to keep our community garden and areas neat and tidywith our garden equipment. Knitting club. Our community café and health and wellbeing club continuesto run. We ran Easter. Summer and Christmas events. We had our annual Christmas Dinner. We held a community D Day event. Lunch & Learn trip to Stormont. We held a summer banquet. During the year we secured fundingfrom The National Lottery Community Fund tot811ing £18.870, Miu & East Antrim Council totalling £1.712 8nd Triangle Housingtotalling £882. We also raised £1,500 through fundraising. Our income for the year totalled £22,964. We made payments in total to the value of £26.729.88 leaving us with a bank balance at the yesr-end totalling £26,185.71. Please note a mistake was identified in the previous year's accounts. Duringthe accounting period ended 31 M8rch 2024. the group secured fundingfrom The National Lottery Community Fund totalling £37.485 and not £39,165. The balance of £1,680 should have been allocated against fundraising lunds.
