The projects ran by the group enhance the community splrlt and helps to relieve the feeling of isolation felt by so many. The benefits can be demonstrated by the footrall that we have at our pro8rammes and events. Ob ectlves Actlvltles and Perfornia In settln8 our objectlves and plannlng our actlvltles for the year the trustees have glven careful consideratlon to the Charty Commission Nl's guidance on public benefft to ensure that the actlvltles have helped to achieve the charitvs purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries. We ran our annual Iith July Family Funday. We continued to keep our communlty 8arden and areas neat and tldy wlth our garden equlpment. We ran our knltting club. Our communlty café has went from strength to strength and has been well attended. We recelved medla coverage when UTV came and Intervlewed the chalmian Chrls Bowyer and some members of the local communlty who vlslt the café. We ran Easter, Summer and Chrlstmas events. We had our annual Christmas Dlnner. We held a communlty Jubllee Event. Flna lal Revlew Durln8 the year we secured funding from Mld & East Antrim Coundl and The Community Foundatlon Grant. Our totsl restricted fundln8 totalled £15,889.50. We made payments In totsl to the value of £20,928.55 leaving us wlth a bank balance at the year*nd of £4,415.56. PaBe 3
