## Activities

**Purposes:** To strengthen and develop the Irish language community in wider Omagh area with specific focus on: a. Increasing the amount of Irish speakers; b. Increasing the number of families raising their children through Irish; c. Providing support, services and facilities to enable people to live their life through Irish; d. Increase the status of the Irish language in the wider Omagh area; e. Add to the number of organisations, institutes, educations institutes, companies and events the operate through Irish; f. Lobby on behalf of the Irish language in our area and further afield; g. Represent the Irish language community; h. Work with other Irish language organisations in our area and the surrounding areas to create a united front and to fill any gaps in terms of activities and services provided.
