The trustees present the annual report and annual statements of Reports and Payments and
Assets and Liabilities for Middletown Parish Community Hall for the year ended 31SI
December 2021.
Objectlves and Actlvlties:
To support and actlvely encourage communlty relatlons and cross border collaboration.
To provlde a venue with facilities allowing a range of activlties/classes wldely acce55lble to all
settlons of the community, not only to the local residents of Middletown, but also to
members of the surrounding community living on each side of the border.
These objectivég weré gignSfic2ntly imp2Cted duo to tho COVID-19 pandemic and related re5trlttions.
As the maln purpose of the charity is to provlde a space for community to come together, However,
when restrictlons were eased the hall was once agaln hired out by members of the community to
enable ￿MMunity adivities.
Flnancial Review
The princlpal source of income of Mlddletown Parish Communlty Hall continues to be hire of
the hall, whlch was slgnlfflcally Impacted due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The prlnclpal expenses of Middletown Parish Community Hall 15 Insurance, accounting and
Banklng fees.
Mlddletown Parish had total income of £643 and total expenditure of £787 for 3 total net
outgoing of £144 for the year ended 31st December 2021. The Bank and Cash 8alance was
£8,483
It Is the trustees, policy to hold sufficient reserves to cover emergiencies.
Going Concern
The Irusrees have revlewed the bud8ets for the year ahead and are satisfied that there are
adequate funds In place to ensure that the Hall can continue Its activltles, and the financlal
statements for the year ended 31" December 2021 can be slgned off as a going concÈrn.
Governance
Mlddletown Parish Community Hall continues under the 8overnance of the or8ani5ations
constitution that was provided to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
The constitution outline5 that the charlty shall be managed by a committee of trustees who
are appointed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the charity.

Statement of Trusteeg Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Report and the statements of
receipts and payment5 and statement of assets and liabilities in accordance with applicable
law and regulations.
The law applicable to charities in Northèrn Ireland wrth Income of le55 than £250,(A)O
requires the trustee5 to prepare a statement of receipts and paymonts and a statement of
assots and liabilities for @ach financial year.
The trustees are responsible for keeping accountlng record5 thai are sufficient to show and
explaln the Par15h's transactions and di5c105e with reasonable accuracy at any time the
assets and liabilities of the Parlsh. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of
the Parish and hence for takln8 reasonable steps for the prevention and detectlon of fraud
and other irre8ularities.
